COACH operators will be able to take more advantage of differences in the price of diesel fuel on the Continent as a result of an EEC agreement in Luxembourg last week.
France and West Germany have a limit of 200 litres on the amount of diesel fuel which coaches may carry in their tanks when they cross the border.
From October 1 the limit will be raised to 600 litres — which means that most vehicles will be able to enter France and Germany with a full tank.
