Volvo's FM9 26-tonne distribution platform manages to combine up-todate technology with traditional values to produce an effective solution to one of the most basic needs of road transportgetting products from the production line to the shop. It does so efficiently and, with I-Shift and the big cab, in a way that certainly won't have your drivers scouring the situations vacant pages.

On this evidence, 340hp seems a good rating for 26 tonnes. It's easily capable of maintaining whatever speed is appropriate while sipping fuel at an acceptably modest rate.
