THERE is a senior vacancy on the technical staff of COMMERCIAL MOTOR. The man who gets this job should be aged between 25 and 40 years. He must have a recognized engineering background, preferably an apprenticeship in the vehicle manufacturing industry, and experience of fleet maintenance.
Professional writing experience, though desirable, is not essential; ability to meet operators and discuss (and understand) their problems is more valuable. The job involves extensive travelling.
