USING CONVENTIONAL drilling bits to replace damaged body panels made from high-strength steels can he a time consuming task.To overcome this problem Car-O-Liner has introduced specialist boron drill bits to be used in conjunction with the company's spot-welding drill.
The drill can regulate the depth of the cut using a red positioning ring to avoid drilling through both panels. And with the yoke fitted the drill moves automatically towards the spot weld when the trigger is depressed.
