Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LIST No. 3, containing about 700 transport units for disposal, will be published by the British Transport Commission on January 27, It will comprise some 4,300 vehicles and 180 trailers.

As from that date, a copy of the list, which gives locations and brief particulars of all the units, may be obtained from the chief secretary of the Commission, 222 Marylebone Road, London, N.W.I. The envelope must be marked "List No. 3."

Anyone wishing to tender must apply by letter to the chief secretary for Particulars and conditions of sale, and a form of tender for the unit, the number of which must be given.

The closing date for tenders for units without . premises is February 22 or, where buildings are concerned, March 8 in both cases at 10 a.m.

It is unlikely that the Commission will announce the numbers of tenders received and accepted in the various lists. Some of those who have been successful in the first schedule have

already been notified. Those whose quotations have been rejected are being informed at the same time.
