a number of vehicles have been disqualified from holding an 0licence indefinitely.
B&P Contracts, of West Drayton, which held a five-vehicle licence based at Stratfordupon-Avon, had been called before West Midland Traffic Commissioner David Dixon.
Stephen Westerby, head of the Traffic Area's compliance team, said they had been searching for the company but had been unable to trace it. A vehicle examiner had confirmed that the operating centre was not being used. The vehicles specified belonged to Target Vehicle Rentals and that company was owed a substantial amount of money "Northgate Motor Holdings supplied a further three vehicles to the company which have disappeared," said Westerby. "It would be grateful of any assistance in tracing them.' Last June the Hastings magistrates had convicted the company and a driver of a number of tachograph offences, said Westerby. The traffic examiner had said the vehicle had been displaying an 0-licence bekanging to another company. The driver had said that the vehicle had been hired for about three months and that the tachograph had not been working for six weeks. It also seemed that the driver was not qualified to drive that class of vehicle.
"It seems to be a fairly fly-bynight outfit," said the IC. He revoked the licence, and disqualified the company and its directors Steve Phillips and Joe Burns indefinitely,
