A TRANSPORT manager must be a full-time employee oi transport company under the terms of the Goods Vehic Operators (Qualification) Regulations 1977. The Freight Transport Association confirmed to CM this we that it is not permissible for a transport manager to be employ as such if his time is divided between two or more companies It is illegal to employ a part-time transport manager.
