1980 Birmingham motor show is a 99 per cent certainty, cording to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. A SMMT spokesman told CM this week that negotiations re still taking place over the exact form of the next exhibition, t added: "I think we can say that, provisionally, the show will at NEC."
He said that the society is fully aware of the congestion oblems which beset this year's Show, and it is working wards solutions to the difficulty.
This includes building more permanent or temporary exhibim space, and trying to attract more evening visitors.
At the October show, 92 per cent of all visitors were at NEC fore 4 pm each day.
