FOUR-wheel-drive conversions for the Mazda B 1800, Datsun one-ton and Toyota Hi-Lux pick-up trucks are now being offered by a new company, Baja Four Wheel Drive Ltd of Henley-on-Thames.
The standard specification includes a Spicer model 30 front axle made to Baja requirements, Dana 20 twospeed transfer box and KYB Gas-Adjust shock absorbers. A steering arm damper is optional. Tyre equipment is H 78x15 off road. Other optional equipment offered includes disc brakes, automatic engaging free wheel hubs, grille guards and a winch.
