• Warwick-based Tuffskips director David Hardwick was told to get his act together by West Midland TC John Mervyn Pugh at a Birmingham disciplinary inquiry Curtailing Hardwick's four vehicle licence to three, to run until the end of September, Pugh said half of Hardwick's eightwheelers were unsafe. These should not be used on the road or put on an 0-Licence until they had passed MOT tests.
Hardwick told of underfunding, but things had improved.
