A CORPORATION proposal to set I-1 back a building line some 15 ft. would prevent the entry of lorries to the premises of C. J. Taylor and Sons, Ltd., Layerthorpe, York, engineers, This was claimed at a public inquiry, at York last week, when terms of •a compulsory purchase order by York Corporation were examined.
There was only one entrance to the factory—and any money received would be little compensation for loss of room for expansion and entry, it was stated for Taylor.
An adjournment was ordered for the inspector to visit the site.
