WTH the object of linking two existing services to establish through facilities, Central S.M.T. successfully applied to operate a stage service between Hamilton (Fairhill) and Glasgow (Killermont), at Glasgow last week. They offered to surrender two other licences.
It was stated that the frequency of the evening service would be slightly reduced and there was little change of route. Objection, by J. Laurie and Co., Hamilton, Lanarks, was withdrawn when they were told that no abstraction would result from the grant of a new licence.
