RENEWING a licence at Carlisle, last week, Mr. J. A. T. Hanlon, Northern Licensing Authority, rebuked the applicant, Mr. Tom Sim, of Walton,

for failing to keep drivers' records, although he had been in business on a one-man basis for 20 years.

Mr. Sim explained that he thought the regulations about drivers' records did not apply to him as he employed only casual drivers.

Mr. Hanlon advised him to have a talk with the enforcement officer.
