Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MAIDSTONE Borough Council, Burnley and Pendle Joint Transport Committee and Leicester City Transport have joined forces to operate a new Blackpool to Dover coach service.

Marketed as City Flyer (CM, May 14), the service will call at towns en route including Blackburn, Burnley, Bacup, Todmorden, Halifax, Sheffield, Leicester, London (Willesden Green and Gloucester Road) and Maidstone. Total scheduled journey times between Dover and Blackpool will be around 10 hours and the maximum single fare is 110.

City Flyer tickets will be sold through the operators' local offices and some travel agencies and will be available on the coaches (which are equipped with the latest Wayfarer ticket machines). Coaches from each of the operators will be used on the four daily departures.

City Flyer services will connect with mainline European rail services and ferry departures at Dover.
