well known Japanese company recently sent 40 of its ! employees on a tour of Europe which, of course, included Lex Wilkinson's Barking depot According to Lex Wilkin son's depot general manager Alan Robinson they took a great interest in all aspects of the company's service, "particularly the Wilkontrol computerised parcel monitoring system."
What, queries the Hawk, is Lex Wilkinson up to? Are they about to launch an Orient Express to Japan; or are the Japanese about to launch on to an expanding international parcels-cumcourier market a mini Wilkontrol system, or what? Top marks, anyway, to Lex Wilkinson for putting Barking on the Japanese touring itinerary — makes a change from Buckingham Palace and Soho, I guess.
