• Expansion at fast-access bodywork manufacturer Southfields Coachworks of Loughborough, has led to the appointment of Leslie Rourke as production director.
Initially, his role will be to streamline the production of fast-access bodywork but he will also lead the introduction of more specialist technical products. A key responsibility will be to translate engin eering ideas into productionline form.
Rourke has wide engineering and management experience in the trailer and bodybuilding industries, and is a qualified draftsman.
Rourke's appointment will free John Richards, one of Soutlifields' two joint managing directors, from day-to-day production Control, allowing him to concentrate more on new product research and development.
