When his own turn came he was horrified to find that he too was stammering.
"D-do-does 5-Sus-Sussex m-m-make e-e-everyone stst-stut-stutter? " he managed to ask the conductor. "Ye-ye-yes. Wh-when th-they r-r-ride."
