CHRISTIAN SALVESEN has installed five Becker electro-hydraulic dock levellers at its recently opened Bury depot. The order brings the total number of Becker levellers supplied to Christian Salvesen depots to 100.
The Becker units are equipped with door seals to minimise the ingress of ambient air, and roller doors on the store side of the dock which measure 2.13m wide by 3.05 long (7ft x 10ft).
The free-standing fully enclosed box section dock levellers can be simply lowered into a pre-formed space in the loading dock, providing quick installation.
