• The 'Super Soaraway Sun' — a newspaper not normally known for its love of road transport, at least not editorially, is giving away a £40,000 Renault G260 tractive unit as first prize in its latest reader competition.
Also included in the prize are HGV driving lessons, six months' tax and insurance and advice on how to apply for an operator's licence. Competition manager Andrew Kitchen says: "The idea is that it will be won by someone wanting to become an owner driver."
A Renault Truck Industries spokesperson said, "The Sun convinced us that the newspaper is read by a lot of lorry drivers and we are pleased to have been asked to donate the prize,"
