• Mercedes-Benz (UK) has moved its commercial vehicle preparatiom centre from Wakefield to a new purpose-built facility at Wentworth Park, Barnsley.
The 32 hectare site offers more than 120,000m2 of hardstanding for vehicles, and 11,000m2 of built-up accommodation.
The centre carries out safety checks and any necessary modifications to all Mercedes-Benz vans and trucks before they are despatched to the dealer network. Telephone number for the new centre is (0226) 350000.
