New additional regulations concerning headlamps became operative on April 1, 1 967 and are contained in the Road Vehicle (Headlamp) Regulations 1967. These regulations together with the 1968 Regulations which concern the use of headlamps outside builtup areas will be discussed in subsequent articles.
