AThe equipment to which you refer is manufactured by Hella Equipment Ltd., Hanworth Lane, Chertsey, Surrey (price £8). The Hella SRG1 is designed for installation in prime-movers equipped with a 24V electrical system and enables such vehicles to be coupled to trailers having either 24V or 12V systems. See CM November 15, 1968.
