Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WITH a view to altering the form of VV the National Council so as to effect an overall reduction in numbers, an extraordinary general meeting of the Traders Road Transport Association will be held on January 29.

The changes will be made by amending the Articles of Association. The proposed new. National Council will consist of the six national 'officers, the immediate past president and 27 members elected by the Divisions. It will still be possible for functional representatives to be appointed, but the maxi mum number is reduced to 10; also, not more than six additional members may be appointed by the Council.

The quorum required at general meetings will be smaller and there are other alterations, chiefly to articles 28, 30, 40 mid 58.

An amendment to article 45 will make it possible for members who are not serving on the National Council to be appointed to committees.

If the changes are approved they will operate from April 30, 1963.
