• Thomas Electronics of Marple in Cheshire has developed a programmable air-operated combination lock for all types of vehicles including curtainsiders.
The first one, fitted into a Fineliner (it also has woven mesh security curtains) can be seen on Boalloy's stand at the NEC.
The Interlok system secures from within using the vehicles own air supply but its coded closure and release is controlled by the dispatcher.
