TRANSPORT MINISTER Norman Fowler has made an order transferring the business of the National Freight Corporation to the state-owned National Freight Company Ltd on October 1.

All of the Corporation's assets, liabilities, and business will be transferred then, when it will cease to exist.

The Company will remain in State control until Mr Fowler considers the time is right to sell shares on the stock exchange.
