The THC subsidiary Road-Air Freight Express Ltd. will pass to the NFC; the purpose of this company is to co-ordirtate and provide a focal point for the varying and differing interests which THC haulage companies have in air links.
4.48 With the advent of jumbo jets capable of carrying standard-size containers of the same modules as those now carried by ships, we may find that in the 1970s air freight business outstrips the passenger side and the small beginnings now being made should pave the way for the new airfreight era.
4.49 The Bill contains power for NFC to associate with air links but all that we need note for the present purposes is that air is involved in type B integration.
