'Ltd., made a trading profit of £136,194 and a net profit of £50,594. After adding the balance brought forward from the previous year, the sum of £73,788 was available for distribution. It is proposed to pay a dividend of 9 per cent., less tax, and to transfer £35,000 to general reserve. The balance to be carried forward is £21,347. The past year's net profit compares with a figure of £37,068 in 1945.
The company proposes to issue a further 38,425 ordinary shares to provide additional working capital and to enable a policy of modernizing the works to be carried out.
