of the London section of the Institute of Metals has been announced. Among the papers to be read will be one on "Centrifugal Casting," by Dr. L. Northcott, F.R.I.C., F.I.M., on December 12, and another on the "Manufacture of Seamless Steel Tubes," by Dr. J. W. Jenkin, B.Sc., F.I.M., A.R.I.C., on March 13, 1947. At the annual general meeting on April 10 next year there will be an open discussion on " New Testing Methods for Metals."
These meetings will be held at 4, Grosvenor Gardens, London, S.W.!, at 7 p.m.
