THE French motor industry manufactured 67,345 vehicles between the Liberation and July 1, 1946, states Reuter. None of these was exported in 1944 and 1945, but in the first six months of this year 4,079 vehicles were exported, of which all but 130 were lorries. Of this 130, some were farm tractors.
