in the United Kingdom, against a computed monthly average of 9,000 in 1938. Included in July's figure were 592 motorbuses and trolleybuses. Apart from Service vehicles, 3,271 were manufactured for export, and 7,061 for home use.
In the first seven months of the year, 79,499 commercial vehicles were produced, including 4,917 motorbuses and trolleybuses. Of the total, 26,249 were for export and 48,139 were for home use.
In the three months ended June, 11,146 agricultural, tractors were pro • duced, of which 3,970 were for export and 7,176 were for home service.
