• ERF is launching an allmakes fixed-price repair service for all Eaton gearboxes except SAMT, and it has reduced its exchange unit prices by 20%. To back up the menu-priced repair service, ERF is training staff from its distributors, dealers and service repairers.
Every transmission specialist outlet will carry a stock of OE spares and will be equipped with special tooling and literature. A stock of 63 exchange units can be fated to most vehicles by using the existing bell housing and gear linkage.
Backing this up is a VOR order facility from Eaton's Gloucester remanufacturing factory. Orders for remanufactured boxes placed at ERF dealers by 17:00hrs will be delivered by 10:30hrs the following day.
A fully remanufactured Twin Splitter will cost £1,650. Remanufactured transmissions carry a 12-month, unlimited distance guarantee.
