• Berkshire based Next Control Systems has launched a refrigerated delivery control system known as Truckmaster. Using sensors, alarms and the mobile phone network, it can relay load and vehicle information back to base.
Speed, journey history, door opening and trailer movement are among the activities that can be monitored; data recording and analysis is also available.
Load temperature can be monitored throughout a journey and advance warning of arrival can be given to the customer.
