Aurora Konrad: 715. Manufactures heating and ventilating for commercial vehicles; tailored to suit individual installations.

Banks: 206. Is the UK concessionaire for Koni shock absorbers for vans, heavy commercial vehicles, buses, and cars (also high-speed trains).

Bettaparts: 646. Exhibits its full range of products including "copper wire" ignition leads and polymer coated brake pipes.

Big J. Autoparts: 630. Adds a one-third scale Japanese pickup to its scaled down Range Rover, said to be a suitable advertising medium for dealers and distributors of the real thing.

BP Oil: 624. Demonstrates innovations to aid fleet efficiency, such as its Supercharge fuel card, alongside its latest fuel economy oils.

Branyl: 714A. Brightens a vehicle's appearance with its Sideliner range of striping materials and shows its d-i-y number plate system.

Bendix: 558.Introduces a new generation of reed valve and clutch-driven air compressors along with its K-Series spring brake actuators.

Britax: 207. Has a stretched fabric covered seat developed

with Motor Panels, dispensing with conventional springing and upholstery.

Bosch: 203. New products on display include the Bosch platinum spark plugs, a range of Bosch wiper blades and its ABS anti-skid braking system.

Brimec: 775. An aircraft wheel system raises the payload capacity of its Towlift beam by 400g to 800kg.

B. T. Sales and Service: 767. Exhibits virtually everything needed to eliminate airborne pollution from the garage workshop.

CBS (Automotive and Industrial): 650. Produces a range of commercial brake linings, radiator hoses and precision die cut V-drive belts.

Champion Sparking Plugs: 340. Is showing a range of Anco windscreen wiper-blades as well as its new range of plugs intended to cope with the extremes of modern motoring.

Criptune Garage Equipment: 781. Operates an architect's and designer's planning service to ease the installation of its diagnostic, brake-testing and lifting equipment.

Comma Oil and Chemicals: 709. Shows its expanding range of products including anti-rust treatment, conductor points, anti-seize compound and degreasers.

Crossland Fitters: 750. Has a range of over 1,300 different filter types predominantly for commercial vehicles, cars, agricultural equipment and offhighway plant.

Dayton-Walther: 501. Produces the Trulock slider and Trulock fixed fifth-wheel in tailormade

kits for quick installation to all tractive units.

Desmo: 608. Introduces the 5007 universal roof rack for commercial and leisure which converts simply into a bar rack.

Doyce Electronics: 760. Produces wide range of vehicle diagnostic equipment with data displayed in an easy to interpret digital format.

Don International: 720. Is in the forefront of development of non-asbestos disc pad and brake linings that will be required by future legislation.

Drum Engineering: 505. Brings high technology to the powder operator v‘:th its new range of light Jupiter oil free compressors.

Dunlop: 406. The exhibits include an automotive loadlevelling system, an electronic levelling system for air suspension and a cab isolation system.

Eberspacher: 633. The heating revolution provides pre-heated engines for easier and less costly cold starting and prewarmed cab interiors.

Eezy Start: 646. Demonstrates the water repellant qualities of its electronic ignition units.

Econocruise: 465. Was the first to introduce truck speed controls to the UK and has developed its system so that it represents the state of the art.

ETC Hand Tools: 646. Displays its full range of over 900 different hand tools.

Filter International: 744. Claims to be Britain's fastest expanding importer of air, oil and fuel filters. Fister: 640. Designed in Italy and produced in Corsham, Wiltshire are wiper blades for minis to express coaches.

Flexible Lamps: 556. Rotating halogen beacons with different types of mountings, including a magnetic base. Also the Rubbolite range of lighting equipment.

Foreline Products: 467. A reversing aid that doubles as an alarm system for security vehicles.

Fram Europe: 730. A range of filters that cover some 1,500 applications from a company celebrating its golden anniversary in business.

Hartridge: 545. Shows the Series 700 diesel fuel-injection pump test stand, providing fast, accurate calibration for in-line distribution type injection pumps with up to eight lines.

Hatcher Components: 466. Three-dimensional air deflector and a restyled Night Cap sleeper pod.

Hefac Engineering: 475.

Displays examples of the Webasto diesel-burning cab heater and coach heater.

lsringhausen: 466. Introduces low-built driver's seat for buses of both air sprung and mechanical design.

lstuan Markovits: 210. Metal engraving coil anodises and industrial graphics combine to produce nameplates, labels, control panels and scales.

Joloda: 442A. Features the Kooi-Aap piggy-back forklift truck plus its latest tracked skate loading and unloading system.

Jost: 410. Has reduced the weight of its sliding fifth-wheel

without any reduction to operating capacity.

Kenlowe: 329. Moves air more efficiently and claims to save up to 10 per cent of the engine's power for improved economy.

Key Auto Electrics: 618. With a range of auto electrics covering some 2,000 applications.

Kysor Industrial: 405. Exhibits three new air conditioning products to extend its range to cover van to off highway plant applications.

Lucas Industries: 141. Exhibits fuel-injection systems for diesel engine vans and trucks besides Lucas Girling Skidchek antilock brake system.

Lucas Kienzle: 526. Introduces Tachocover the first maintenance insurance scheme for tachograph users.

Motor Panels: 524. Shows the first pressed and spot-welded aluminium cab to be produced in Europe.

Parkson Forgings: 469A. Illustrates typical components used by the commercial vehicle bodybuilding industry.

Pioneer Weston: 654. Included in Pioneer Weston's NEC display is its Marathon range of PTFE and synthetic rubber fluid seals, including valve-stem seals, which Pioneer claims are particularly suitable for turbocharged engines.

PoIco Products: 607. Distributes an extensive range of accessories including the Polco Flexi Funnel giving easy access to difficult filler points.

P&P Sergeant: 637. P & P Sergeant is sole agent for Abex brake linings, used by a number of vehicle manufacturers as original equipment. Wide range of friction materials.

Quinton HazeII: 731. The latest version of Quinton HazeII's variable pitch cooling fan the OH Thermofan is shown for the first time at the Show. Development work is expected to lead to Thermofan being fitted as original equipment by several European vehicle manufacturers. Raves UK: 408. Raves markets a range of vehicle weighing systems, including the Lodec on-board equipment. On the stand is a 260A axle weighing platform claimed to be accurate to within 10kg per axle.

Raydyot: 748. Raydyot markets a large number of commercial vehicle accessories, including heated mirrors, semi-trailer electrical connectors and fog and rear warning lamps.

Resta11 Bros: 456. Vehicle seating manufacturer RestaII will have a large display of products for vans, psv, ambulances and welfare vehicles. Also exhibited is a range of luxury coach seating manufactured by Industrial Estreban.

Rothenberger: 769. Specialist bodybuilding and repairing tools from welding guns to a plugthread repair insert set are shown by Rothenberger of Northampton.

Ryders International: 455. Ryders is exhibiting a range of Warn hydraulic, electric and manually operated winches on its stand, designed for fitting to a variety of vehicles including 4x4 models. New safety features on electric winches include an ECL (Electric Current Limiter) overload cut-off.

SAB Automotive: 445. Well known for its brake slack adjusters and air dryers, SAB is also exhibiting new Hesselman electro-hydraulic power packs and Haldex on-board vehicle fuel recorders.

Schwitzer: 508. Schwitzer is exhibiting several turbocharged models at NEC from its latest S Range comprising units for light vehicles up to heavyduty diesel-engine turbocharged.

SSI Fix Equipment: 756. Manufacturer and installer of storage systems, SSI is exhibiting its static shelving units and sliding light van kits. Latest addition to

the range is a vacuum formed insert for use with SSI's plastic containers.

Stemco Truck Products: 4732. New items include its Guardian Hub seal and a range of nonasbestos friction products including clutch facings. Also displayed are Engler Hubodometers, and Monroe moisture ejectors for compressed air systems.

Telma Retarder: 503. Telma electro-magnetic retarders can be fitted between the gearbox and rear axle of buses and commercial vehicles and examples of the Telma range are at NEC.

TRW Probe Electronics: 527A. Vehicle electronics for commercial vehicles. On display; onboard weighing system, ETEL electronic engine control, electronic vehicle data collection device and Modular Microprocessor Instrument Cluster MIC.

Valeo: 204. On show is the new Parex range of alternators and starter motors produced by SEV which has been expanded to include exchange units.

VBG Concessionaires: 548. VW:I supplies drawbar systems and trailer couplings. Show exhibits include new automatic drawbar connection for close coupling, aluminium underrun bar, trailer connections, new fifth-wheels and Swedish Robson Drive.

VDO Instruments: 716. Now offering a 140mm (5.51i n) diameter electronic speedometer directly interchangeable with a Kienzle tachograph head that operates from a VDO or Kienzle sender and can be c;alibrated on the vehicle. Availeible in 12 or 24v.

Veetler Root: 550. New products include 14 00-Series electronic tachographs '1426 Universal Automatic model on

show equipped with two microprocessors, which can be linked to a computer or electronic data logger. ACE 4E chart analyser exhibited.

Veber Concessionaires: 210. Weber is now UK distributor for Aftecna diesel engine injection cromponents used as original equipment on Iveco commercial vehicles. Altechna manufact u r es Bosch injection oquipment under licence in Willibald Grammer: 468. Exhibits a range of suspension seating designed for comfort, safety and reliability.

Wolfrace Wheels: 737. New products include 51/2 x 13 alloy wheels, seats and wheel care accessories. Also on display anti-theft locking wheelnuts for light vehicles.

Woodhead, Jonas (RSR Section): 655A. Motor factor and UK distributors for BPW axle and suspension parts, Woodhead RSR is now offering a range of Dana Spicer propshafts; Monsanto anti-spray equipment; and new range of wheels.

York Truck Equipment: 431A. Products include the new York Big D fifth-wheel slider, Bodyguard safety reversing device and Anthony Carrimore new link tipping gear for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
