THE NEW Mercedes-Benz Vito, launched in Germany earlier this year, has now gone on sale in the UK at a starting list price of £12,995 (ex-VAT).
With an all-new design. new engine variants, roof heights and wheelbases the new Vito enters a very competitive sector. Mercedes has extended the model line-up compared with its predecessor and while the list price has risen by, on average, £500, it claims they include nearly £2,000-worth of additional equipment.
Maintenance intervals are now based on operational use and the Vito can go up to 25,000 miles betweenmajorservicing.Warranty too gets a hike and is extended tc three years of 125,000 miles, with 12 years' anti-corrosion cover.
