Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE ABS anti-lock braking system is now available as an option on all DAF chassis with the current exception of the FAD 2500 eight-wheeler.

All DAF axles manufactured at the Oevel factory in Belgium are now being produced to accommodate the system if required.

On new vehicles, the ABS will be incorporated on-line at Eindhoven with the extra cost being about f1,200-plus in the UK.

In addition, DAF will offer a retrofit conversion to existing vehicles starting in March or April of next year with the work being carried out at DAF's Marlow headquarters.

ABS is activated by means of sensors in the wheel hubs. It limits the pressure to just the locking wheel rather than to the complete system.
