Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

imCITY LINK has applied for permission to run 15 vehicles and the same number of trailers at a new operating centre at the Darlows Business Centre in Peterborough.

The company announced in February that it

wanted to open a new regional hub in Peterborough alongside another 870,000ft2 regional hub in Warrington.

In addition, the firm plans to spend millions of pounds updating its depot network.

However, the company says where there is duplication in the network following the 2007 purchase of Target Express, both depots may be merged into a new site.

City Link currently has 80 sites and wants to reduce this number to about 60. City Link saw its operating loss improve by 279% to £4.4m in 01 2010 against the same period in 2009. It returned to profit in the final quarter of 2009, registering an operating profit of £2.7m.

Revenue was down by 1.8% to £83.5m in 01 but the firm says this is in-line with its plan.
