Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RENAULT VANS has launched a rear-wheel-drive 3.5-tonne Master van, completing the latest stage of renewing its LCV range.

The Master RWD will be available as a van, single and doublecab chassis and as a tipper, which will be available as either a "Castor" suitable for normal use, or a "Building Trade" version for more intensive site use. The firm says the Master RWD is aimed at tradespeople, small and mid-sized construction companies and industry, although it expects it will take a share of local authority fleets too. The Master RWD is the same product as the relaunched Mascott, which will be sold by

Renault Trucks (see page 64). Renault Vans will sell only the 3.5tonne version, while Trucks will sell the full range up to 6.5 tonnes. Two Nissan-developed 3-litre dCi engines are available — either

at 120 or 160hp, developing 115hp and 156hp and maximum torque of 270Nm at 1300rpm and 350Nm at 1500rpm respectively. However, the move to rearwheel-drive does reduce the van's

payload — the 3.5-tonne doublecab tipper with 160dCi engine and 4,130nun wheelbase will take only 614kg. The panel vans have a better payload, at 921kg for the dCi 120 medium wheelbase version.
