• Paint manufacturer Cromadex will contract out its London inhouse transport operation to Hay Pollock of Essex next month.
Hay Pollock estimates it will need another four trucks to carry out the deliveries for the Courtaulds subsidiary It will base the trucks at a 4,200m2 distribution centre in Basildon into which it moves next month.
The new site is three times bigger than the Dagenham depot which currently houses its transport and freight forwarding business.
