WARING, chairman and joint managing director of Joseph Lucas (Industries), Ltd., who becomes deputy president. The two vice-presidents are MR. R. F. Names, vice-chairman of the Nuffield Organization and a director of the British Motor Corporation, who continues in that office for another year, and MR. F. GLASGOW TO BAN WAITING " MO WAITING" is to be applied to

1 several main streets in Glasgow from noon moil 6 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Unilateral parking on alternate sides of the road .will apply in other streets from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays and from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

The Ministry of Transport has suggested a slight increase in permitted waiting time in certain streets. The Minister has proposed that the period of waiting in official parking places be limited to two hours and that parking meters be used experimentally in due course.
