Appearing before Lutc Magistrates last week, Mr GIE tonbury of Arrow Close, Lute pleaded guilty to using a doe ment so closely resembling 0-licence disc that there cou be no question about his inte tions.

Prosecuting, Jonathan Corti lis said that on August 22 vehicle belonging to Mr Glasto bury was stopped by an ex miner at Fleetwood Docks, ar the licence disc did not relate that particular vehicle.

Inquiries were made and ; though Mr Glastonbury initia claimed he was the joint hold of an Operators' licence, he lat admitted his name had be' forged on to the disc. He sa this had been done as he or intended to keep the vehicle f a short period.

The magistrates fined IN Glastonbury £200 and order' him to pay £50 costs.
