Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ROAD transport nationalization in Mysore has so far cost the Government over Rs. 3m. Mr. H. Siddayeer. appa. Home Minister, disclosed recently that the Government was contemplating running buses on a few selected routes as an experiment.

This statement met with opposition from the Punjab Motor Transport Union, which alleged that it was contrary to an agreement reached between it and the Government. The Union challenged the Government to show that nationalization had so far proved profitable. If this were so, the Union was prepa.red to hand over the remainder of -the bus routes to State ownership.
