I N its annual report to the Minister of Transport, the Transport Tribunal states that it made 1,433 orders approving agreed charges, of which 182 applied to traffic carried by the Road Haulage Executive as well as by rail. Agreements approved affected 2,033 traders: 275 were new contracts, the remainder were renewals, or modifications of previously approved. agreements.
Twenty-four appeals were made to the Transport [Appeal] Tribunal and 11 of these were successful.
