REDSTON, MR. R. Mc K. WAI.KER and MR. W. G. WiDNALL. MR. T. FL SUMMERSON has been appointed chairman of the home affairs and transport division and an honorary vice-president of the Association of British Chambers of Commerce.
MR. F. W. CREWS, Secretary of the Institute of Transport since 1941, has been presented with a gold wristwatch by the council of the institute to mark his total of 25 years' service-with that body.
A. BaAvsnaw has been elected chairman of the Yorkshire region of the Institute of the Motor Industry, He succeeds MR. BADEN POWELL, who becomes deputy chairman. MR. F. LOCKWOOD has been elected honorary Secretary and MR. P. R. Baum honorary treasurer. Mr. littayshaw has also become chairman of the I.M.L Bradford centre, MR. R. W. Wit.av, managing director of Magnetic Motors, Ltd., Leeds, has been elected chairman of the Leeds centre of the Institute of the Motor Industry in succession to MR. R. E.
