CIF 1 January 2005 Increase the financial standing requirements for standard national licences (by some 44%) to match those for standard international licences, implementing the removal of the derogation for member states to set lower levels for national operations in European legislation.
The Motorways Tratfic (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2004, CIF 1 January 2005 Prohibit vehicles that are required to have speed limiters fitted from using the outside lane of a motorway with three or more lanes. They also provide exemptions in the use of motorways where directed by a traffic officer.
