SURREY County Council cut backs in financial support for bus services in North-East Surrey and outer South-West London have caused a reduction in London Transport bus services in the area.
Sixteen bus routes are affected by the charges which will cause the withdrawal of one LT route and service reductions on two others.
Two new services in the area are being introduced — one to be operated by London Country Bus Services and the other by private operator Ben Stanley Ltd.
Services inside the Greater London Council area will be maintained at present levels.
