IN October of this year British manufacturers produced 14,202 commercial vehicles, against the 1938 computed monthly average of 9,000. Production in the first 10 months of the year totalled 118,681 commercial vehicles.
Of October's output, 4,650 vehicles were for export and 9,488 for home use. in the first 10 months of the year, 39,598 vehicles were produced for export and 73,712 for home service.
