AWARNING that in future he would refuse applications for adjournments and deal with cases on the evidence immediately available, was given by Mr. A. Robertson, Deputy Licensing Authority, at a sitting in Aberdeen last week. He said the court could not continue to make a long list of adjourned cases. Many Authorities had decided not to grant adjournments, in order to save objectors' expense.

EDINBURGH CALLS FOR INQUIRY
