A prototype of the Czechoslovakian twin-axle truck was designed and built within six months in anticipation of changing market demands. The completed version participated in the 12,000 from Paris-Dakar Rally. Barring mechanical problems production will begin once it has been returned to Czechslovakia.

NEW MOTORWAY A further section of the Wurzburg-Ulm motorway between the Biebelried triangle and Ulm should be open to traffic by the end of the year. The costs of the final 601cm section are estimated at around DM630 million.
