ANY TRANSPORT economts have predicted that there lay be a modest increase in amend for road freight movelent in the UK during 1979. at at grass-roots level, many auliers are finding there are gns of over-capacity and that )mpetition is, if anything, beming more severe.

P. P. Payne's strapping division 13 showing the latest in non-metallic strapping systems. The popular Tristar 210 design is improved and now incorporates an adjustable tensioning control positioned outside the machine, which simplifies operation.
Stretch wrapping consolidates and protects small loads. United Packaging Industries (UK) is exhibiting its Arplast horizontal stretchwrapping machine, which is particularly suitable for long items such as carpets. It is also showing its range of hand wrappers.
For those contemplating office or workshop reorganisation, SS1 Fix Equipment is showing its complete range of storage containers in plastic and steel, shelving cupboards and cabinets, trucks, trolleys and assembly benches. The popular Regal 2000 storage system is also on display.
