PRICED at £38 10s., a welding trolley with folding bench and pipe vice has been introduced by Croftshaw (Engineers), Ltd., 523 Ordnance Road, Enfield Lock, Middx. The trolley forms a handy unit for maintenance work.
Oxygen and acetylene cylinders are% carried as, normally, and the bench, which is 3 ft, long and 2 ft. wide, can be erected in half a minute. The bench top is of steel plate and the framework steel tube. The bottles are secured by two adjustable steel straps, each of which has a tensioning device. The 14-in, wheels have pneumatic tyres.
The company evolved the design for their own plant engineers and found that a pair of men equipped with a Dual trolley, as the unit is known, performed erection and installation work within 30 per cent. less time than before.
